'Curtain' Receives Rave Reviews
Posted 03/05/2018 02:03PM

The NDP Players production of Curtains School Edition was hilarious. With stand-out performances by seniors Steven Schwartz, Robbie Bateman and Anna Sera, and juniors Skylar Brown, Natalie Brothen and Jose Martinez-Rendon, the show moved at a rapid pace with twisting plots, clever choreography and outstanding vocals. "Freshman Jad Majeed was so funny," said NDP teacher Mary Jane Wright. "Every line he delivered was spot-on."

Sophomore Hunter Frye gave a convincing performance for her portrayal of the competent and cantankerous
stage manager Jenny Harmon. The entire cast and ensemble is likable, funny and engaging.

This production was made possible through the dedication of Bonnie Wilson, Dr. Valerie Sorkin-Wells, Dr. Eric Schuler, Daniel Kurek, Deanna Hudson, Kathleen Brazie, Dr. Julia Files and Ken Wilson. Many parent volunteers helped with concessions, tickets table, photography and more.

Congratulations to our senior thespians. The NDP community will miss your leadership and talent next year. Keep creating art, wherever you go next year.
