Bishop Olmsted is pleased to welcome Mrs. Jill A. Platt as the next principal of Notre Dame Preparatory. Mrs. Platt will begin her duties July 1, 2017.
Mrs. Platt's education and experience have formed her well for her role at Notre Dame Prep. She received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication with Emphasis in Business from Northern Arizona University, her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University, and her Master of Education in Instruction Leadership from DePaul University.
Mrs. Platt is an Arizona native whose career has provided her with many diverse experiences in K-12 Catholic education in Arizona, Indiana, Illinois, and California. Her current position is as Principal of All Hallows Academy in La Jolla, California where she has served since 2011. In Chicago, Mrs. Platt served as Assistant Principal of Alphonsus Academy and Center for the Arts from 2008-2011 and Associate Principal of Gordon Tech High School from 2006-2008.
From 2004-2006, Mrs. Platt held the position of Assistant Principal at Brebeuf Jesuit in Indianapolis, and previous to that was the Educational Technology Administrator at Brophy College Prep from 1998-2004. Early in her career, Mrs. Platt held various jobs at Xavier College Prep.
Joyful to be back in her home diocese where she attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School in Scottsdale and Sacred Heart Catholic School in Prescott, Mrs. Platt's personal and professional journey has come full circle.
Mrs. Platt will be Notre Dame Preparatory's fourth principal since its opening in 2002.
