All present and incoming students have required reading for the summer. The English Department has created a number of guided reading questions/book files/assignments that are meant to help students understand the major themes and the main ideas in the novels and to better prepare them to take the tests on these novels in August. Please follow the instructions for each book. The work on these assignments should not be collaborative or plagiarized in any way, and the originality of the work will be checked through turnitin.com. Any ideas from another source must be cited according to MLA format, and a Works Cited page must be included.
