Senior Awards Ceremony
May 3, 2013
NDP - Dale Jensen Gymnasium
1:15 - 2:30 p.m.
We will be following a "Minimum Day" bell schedule. The ceremony will be held from 1:00 - 2:30. Parents are welcome to attend!
SENIOR DRESS CODE
Girls
• Dresses and skirts (no more than 3 inches above the middle of the knee).
• Dresses and tops must have at least cap sleeves (no spaghetti straps or tank tops permitted, unless a sweater or jacket is worn the entire day).
• All tops must have a modest neckline and no cleavage may be showing.
• Shoes must have no more than a 1-inch heel, or flats may be worn. All shoes must have a back. No flip flops are permitted
Boys
• Dress shirts with ties and dress pants are required; all shirt sleeves must be unrolled.
• No polo shirts or t-shirts; no jeans or casual pants may be worn.
• Dress shoes are required; no athletic shoes are permitted, no matter how new or clean.
The Administration reserves the right to make the final decision on the dress code. Students not properly attired
will be asked to change, will receive a detention and may not be permitted to take part in the ceremony.

Baccalaureate Mass Information

Baccalaureate Mass Practice
Location: St. Bernard of Clairvaux

Date: Wednesday, May 15, 2013
Time: 1:00 pm
Please be on time; the sooner we start, the sooner you finish.
For Baccalaureate practice, please be dressed appropriately in soccer length shorts (or long pants) and shirts with sleeves (NDP shirt or college shirt). No short shorts, no short dresses, no cleavage, and no spaghetti straps.

Time: 6:00 pm (Graduates to arrive by 5:30 pm)
Graduates should be carrying their Graduation gown (no cap) which they will put on after a dress code check.

MANDATORY Graduation practice Information:

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Graduation Ceremony Practice in the NDP gym
(Gowns and tassels to be distributed)
Please be on time; the sooner we start, the sooner you finish.
For Graduation practice, please be dressed appropriately in soccer length shorts (or long pants) and shirts with sleeves (NDP shirt or college shirt). No short shorts, no short dresses, no cleavage, and no spaghetti straps.
These practice sessions are MANDATORY. Students who do not attend them will not be able to participate in either graduation ceremony. The school will not be providing transportation. Students must be on time to each practice.

Graduation Ceremony Information

Graduation Map
(General Information/Locations)
- The graduation ceremony is a general admission event. Tickets are not needed for entry and there is no limit on seating. Doors will open for guests at 6:00pm. on the North side.
- Graduates must enter through the East entrance by 6:00 pm.. All guests must enter through the north entrance. (See map above.)
- Students will receive their caps and gowns at the practice/walkthrough.
- MANDATORY Graduation practice/walkthrough on Thursday, May 16, 9:00 to 11:00am in the NDP Gym. If students do not attend this practice, they CANNOT walk in the graduation ceremony.

Additional items for graduating seniors:
- Graduates report to the East Entrance by 6:00 pm
- No items may be worn on the outside of the gown (ie. Pins, flower necklaces, writing, jewelry, etc.)
(The only exception to this rule will be National Honor Society Sashes and Summa medals.)
- No gum or food of any kind may be brought into Wells Fargo Arena
- No cell phones, pagers or iPods, etc. are permitted on the person of any student on or off
- Caps cannot be tossed in the air during ceremony, but students will be given an opportunity to do this outside the arena for a picture
- No one must be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Silence must be maintained during the ceremony
- All tassels start on the left side
