Freshman Connection, Coming Together
Posted 08/09/2017 01:39PM

The Freshman Connection will take place on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 2 - 10 p.m. in the NDP gymnasium. Come join us for an evening of fun and prayer. This event is hosted by student leadership and includes dinner, snacks and a dance. This is a mandatory event for all freshmen.

Freshman connection is the first real opportunity for freshman to gather as a community. It is an important day in which students will have the opportunity to pray, play and to further their understanding about our spiritual life at NDP. Our foundational values are Reverence, Respect and Responsibility. And our school Charisms are to become more humble, wise, joyful, sacrificial, courageous and loving. Our student leaders along with the Center of Mission and Ministry (COMM) leaders will be on hand to share their understanding of life at Notre Dame Prep.

"A day like this is important, as it allow freshman an opportunity to get to know each other and to bind together as a group," said Sister Yolanda Mendoza, our director of campus ministry. "It is my hope that our freshman will come to realize that God is part of everything we do."

Students should plan to arrive at 1:45 p.m. for check-in. Please eat lunch before coming to Freshman Connection! You do not need to bring anything, but a great attitude! Everything else will be provided. Parents, plan to pick up your student at 10:00 p.m. in front of the gym.
