Mothers’ Guild, through its many programs,
has been pivotal in creating an environment that
encourages and supports parental involvement and
input. Notre Dame Preparatory is a family experience,
not just a student experience.
A variety of service and recreational opportunities
are available for all interested moms.

Welcome Back, NDP Moms!
I hope you had a relaxing and fun summer and are ready to gear up for the new school year.
The Mothers’ Guild has been busy over the summer, executing events and planning activities for the coming year. Of particular note were the Used Book Sale and the Used Uniform Sale. Both of these are of huge benefit in helping our families save money on items for school. In addition, they raise money to support important programs. For example, more than $,500 was generated through the Used Book Sale to fund scholarships for our students. The Used Uniform Sale raised roughly $4,800, which will be used to support Mothers’ Guild programs such as Staff Appreciation, Senior Surprise, and the Junior Ring Ceremony, among others. Please join me in extending a big thank you to the committees who worked so hard to make these events a huge success!
We look forward to seeing you at our first events and hope that you will become an active member of the Mothers’ Guild. Our first general meeting is at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24. Please plan to come for a light breakfast and to learn more about the various committee and clubs. This will be an easy opportunity for you to sign up for any that interest you
We also will have a lunch for new moms at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11. It is an opportunity for you to meet other moms new to the NDP community.
Finally, please plan to attend the Parent Social at 7:00 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13. We will meet at the Temple Bar at Bell and Thompson Peak. Plan to come to renew old friendships and to meet others in the NDP family.
Watch throughout the year for updates on the Mothers’ Guild page of the NDP Web site and in the Mothers’ Guild newsletter, From The Heart. There are many activities planned. We look forward to having fun together while we provide support to our students, staff, and the school!
