Expected Schoolwide Learning Results (ESLRs)

Mission:

The Notre Dame Preparatory community of students, parents, faculty, and staff believe in our mission statement that: Always keeping God and Family as our priority, Notre Dame Preparatory, a Diocesan Catholic High School, engages in the formation of students by integrating faith in a college preparatory curriculum, promoting academic excellence, moral values and lifelong service.

In accordance with this mission, it is expected that a Notre Dame Preparatory High School education will address the following areas and achieve expectations of students in the following areas:


Reverence:

The Notre Dame Preparatory High School graduate will:

  • Exhibit knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Faith
  • Demonstrate a Christian moral and ethical awareness and approach to the community and the world based upon the message of Jesus Christ
  • Display reverence for Eucharistic celebrations and communal prayer

Respect:

The Notre Dame Preparatory High School graduate will:

  • Possess the ability to work collaboratively and build healthy relationships with individuals and in a group
  • Exhibit respect for self, others, property, and the environment through word and action
  • Display an understanding of social, cultural, and economic diversity

Responsibility:

The Notre Dame Preparatory High School graduate will:

  • Understand and practice the responsibilities of citizenship
  • Possess an awareness of and the willingness to respond to the issues and needs of local and global communities by embracing service to others
  • Demonstrate academic achievement by mastering knowledge using critical thinking, technology, and communication skills
