Mission Statement: Our goal is to fulfill our responsibility as mankind to be good stewards of our planet Earth. We will do this by furthering education while promoting and practicing the concept of sustainability for the ultimate goal of preserving our planet for future generations.
General Club Info/History: The club has been active in educating all people on the NDP campus on current environmental issues, as well as promoting an environmentally sustainable lifestyle. This has been achieved each year through such activities as Earth Day events and the plastic recycling “take it home” campaign. Over the course of the past few years the club has attempted to bring plastics recycling to the campus, but have been unsuccessful so far. The club successfully brought paper recycling to the campus many years ago, and the paper recycling campaign is going strong. Additionally, the club sponsors an animal at the Phoenix Zoo each year, and has participated in star-gazing and hiking activities.
