NDP hires new Boys’ Basketball Coach.
Boys’ basketball varsity assistant coach, Chris Stark, has been hired to replace Matt Harris who accepted the athletic director position at Rancho Solano.
Coach Stark came to Notre Dame last year from Buckeye Union High School where he was the Head Varsity coach for 5 years. Chris left Buckeye after three state tournament appearances, a skyline region title and AIA Coach of the Year award. Coach Stark began his coaching career as a JV coach and then varsity assistant at Cactus Shadows High School for six years. After Cactus Shadows, Chris went to Horizon where he was the assistant Varsity Coach for two years before starting his program at Buckeye Union High School. Coach Stark currently still teaches American government, Economics, and American history at Buckeye Union High School. Coach Stark is currently married to his wife Dawn who is a Math teacher at Millennium High School. They are expecting a baby in a few days on July 9th or 10th.
